Welcome to Deckbuilding 101. On this week's episode, Rob Smith joins us again as we talk about basic deckbuilding principles that can help newcomers be better equipped when it comes to constructing decks for competitive play. We start from the ground up and talk about how we approach crafting a deck and where we start the process. We provide context for all the key terms and use some of our own deck examples to show how you can approach the deckbuilding thought process to ensure your deck is prepared to face the competition in a competitive space. I was inspired to put this together due to the number of newer players that we have within our community and wanted to provide a basic foundation for them to have a better idea of how to approach this vital part of the game.

About Us
The Threshing Floor Podcast debuted in November of 2021 following the announcement of major changes to the game of Redemption which included the first rotation in the game's 25+ year history. Knowing the impact these changes would have on the game and already desiring a platform for discussion on the game to keep players informed and connected to the greater Redemption community, Hendrix took action and created The Threshing Floor Podcast. If you would like to read more about the history of the podcast and our hosts, check out our About Us page. If you are new to the game of Redemption, we have put together some valuable information for you here.
